Basting
For quilters who prefer to quilt by hand or on their domestic sewing machine, but who don’t care to pin baste. 🙂 I can load the 3 layers on my longarm and use a long stitch length every 5 inches or so to attach the quilt to the batting and back. $.01 (1 cent) per square inch.
Edge to Edge (E2E) quilting
- Prices start at $.02 (2 cents) per square inch. Premium patterns will be 2.5 cents per square inch, Premium2 are .03 cents per square inch.
- Prices will vary according to the technique and the complexity of the design.
- 50% of the estimate is due up front, or $50 minimum, whichever is higher.
- To estimate the quilting costs simply multiply the length by the width of your top.
Example: 63×87 = 5481 5481 x .025 = $137.03
On receiving your quilt I will confirm the quilting fee. All prices are subject to change without notice!
Binding
- $.15 (15 cents) per linear inch for machine-finished binding
- You provide prepared binding, or
- $10 charge to prepare binding with your fabric
- $.25 (25 cents) per linear inch for hand-finished binding
Custom Sewing
- $45 per hour
- Major quilt repairs
- I reserve the right to refuse projects for any reason
Minor Sewing
- Minor quilt repairs
- preparing backing (seaming and squaring)
- $15/hour, $5 minimum
